    new job redux

    Tuesday, August 28, 2007, 09:18 PM [General]

I have to share this-about manifesting. I did manifest this job, it meets most of my requirements, but I was not ready to return to work after being off 6 months (withdrew from a doctoral program, but that is another story.

My 1st day, i go out to my car, and the battery was dead. I showed up 2 hrs late, with 2 admin types waiting to orient me. Fortunately, they were very understanding. What a day. Oh, and the clinic might be haunted, lol. Love it!

    new job

    Monday, August 27, 2007, 10:06 PM [General]

I just began a new job as an FNP in a retirement facility.  I met one resident who stopped inot the clinic with a question.  As we chatted, I let her know I practiced holistically, and had other skills such as hypnosis and Healing touch. She took a deep breath, and said "I told my friend last week that what they needed was to hire a holistic practitioner!"  This confirmed to me that I am in the right place for now...

    Hi,

I am on a 30 day challenge training for internet marketing and we were given a great tool-a way to check out how often a key word is searched for on the internet. Google has this, but this site is great. try out hypnosis and see what folks are searching for:

    clownphobia

    Saturday, August 18, 2007, 09:56 PM [General]

Wow, Hi, I just a youtube video about a clownphobia. The psychiatrist is using aversion therapy, but I see where hypnosis/EFT would have been more helpful.

    Hi, Great NGH Conference!

    Friday, August 17, 2007, 05:28 PM [General]

    Hello All,

I wanted to introduce myself here. I just returned from the NGH conference-my 2nd one, and it was great. After meeting and speaking to Cal, I decided to give myself the opportunity to sign up here, and learn to blog!!  I am also doing the 30 Day Challenge, though my week away means I have a lot to catch up on.

I am a Nurse Practitioner, and will be starting a new job soon in a geriatric Primary Care Setting. I have been practicing as a holistic nurse for many years now, and have learned many techniques-Healing Touch, Reiki, EFT, and of course, hypnosis. While I will be able to subtly use some of these in my NP practice, my goal/hope is to develop a business that provides a service and educational opportuities for other health professionals and clients.  I am interested in stress and pain management, spirituality, pets, celtic wisdom, and so much more.

I hope this is enough to start off, I am sure more will follow..
